Use of own premises by company

If you own your own company and work from home consider putting a rental agreement in place between you and your company to enable the company to rent part of your home as office space thereby reducing your profits assessable to corporation tax. Note that this rent will be assessable on you personally for income tax purposes so it may not be advisable in every case.
